Mixed media on watercolor paper, framed. I had a lot of blue watercolor paint I didn’t want to waste, so I smothered this paper with it and shoved it away. I found this really beautiful reference photo in an old National Geographic magazine (1970’s). I love the rawness this photograph represents. Working as a team, survival, the ocean, fishing. It encompasses so much about life. The background is painted with watercolor, and the fishermen are meticulously painted in oil. It is professionally framed with glass, and matted.
