Born and raised in the SW Oklahoma area and greatly influenced by living near the Wichita Wildlife Mountains, my love of photographing this beautiful area led me back into my art. I received my Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Art with a painting concentration from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. My art has been accepted into the 2012 Oklahoma Friendly National Juried Show, as well as the 25th September Competition at the Alexandria Museum of Art, in Alexandria, Louisiana, and various other small venues. I had to stop painting for a few years upon becoming a part-time caregiver for my family. I relocated to the Oklahoma City Metro and hope to return to painting again.
